My creative career began in Illustration and publishing, but after taking time out to raise more children than is really sensible; I returned to education to pursue my passion for Fine Art. I graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 2011, where I developed the contemporary drawing practice that remains at the heart of my work today.

Since graduating, I have exhibited extensively throughout Norfolk, London and across the UK, with work held in public and private collections in the UK, USA, China and Israel. My work has been recognised through a number of awards and opportunities, including reaching the finals of the International Saatchi Drawing Showdown, appearing in Series 2 of the BBC2 Programme, Show Me the Monet, and being selected as Visual Art Trader's Artist of the Month. Art critic David Lee described my work as "it's not often you find work that wants to draw you in."

Alongside my contemporary drawing practice, I also create oil landscapes, expressive monoprints, portrait commissions and murals. However, sharing creativity with others has become just as important to me as making my own work.

I have taught and delivered workshops in primary and secondary schools, community settings, corporate events and private tuition. I work with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, including those with special educational needs, and I enjoy creating projects that are engaging, accessible and meaningful. I believe that everyone is creative, and that art becomes most rewarding when it connects with people's experiences, interests and stories.

My workshops are designed to be welcoming, supportive and enjoyable. I bring a calm, intuitive and friendly approach to teaching, taking care to ensure that every participant feels included, valued and encouraged. Whether working with complete beginners or experienced artists, children or adults, my aim is always to create a relaxed environment where people feel confident to explore, experiment and discover their own creative potential.
